Beautiful. I love these boats. I want that one in the third picture. It would be perfect for cursing the waters at the cottage 🙂 Do you know anything about the boat?

Me, too! Doesn’t it look cozy? I don’t know anything about the boat but I’ll take a look at the rest of the photos I took that day and I may find one with the name of the boat visible. I’ll let you know after further investigation.

Hi, PW! I believe the boat in the third photo is the Rhinegold. It has its own website — rhinegold.ca — with lots of photos. The boat in the 4th and 5th pictures is called Thelonius. If you search on “Classic Yacht Association Thelonius” you will find more information and photos.

Leslie, please call me Gary. Imagine that. A boat with its own website. I had a look. It is an absolutely beautiful boat in magnificent shape for its age. I would love an old wooden boat. Something large enough to sleep on and comfortable enough to cruise for extended periods. Thank you for taking the time. You have me thinking 🙂

Great photos! I had to do a double take on the second one with the ship’s wheel as it looks so much like our old boat interior. Classic wooden boats are wonderful to look at but almost a full time occupation to keep them up.
