    Great pictures. I love old houses. What years were these built in?


    • I’m not sure, Deb. The top one looks about 100 years old to me. The second one (dusty rose colour) is actually a new house!

      I’ll see what I can find out about the other three.


      • The first one, 1005 Cornwall Street, is on the heritage register. I don’t know what year it was built, but some people are listed as living at that address in the 1911 census.

        The second one, as I said, is a newer house built in the 2000s in heritage style.

        The third one, the yellow house, was built in 1941, according to a real estate listing I found.

        The last one, at 115 Third Avenue, was built in 1889 and is among the oldest in New Westminster.
