Thanks, Mr. Funk 🙂 Vancouver is a relatively young city. On the one hand, there’s been far too much knocking down of heritage buildings. On the other, Vancouver seems to have embraced the best of modern architecture. There are lots of interesting new buildings here, designed by world-famous architects. Our central library was designed by Moshe Safdie, and we also boast buildings by Arthur Erickson and Bing Thom.
Here’s an article published today on Thom, who has just been chosen to design a new arts & cultural centre in Hong Kong.
