It certainly does, especially since that’s all that remains of the original building. It’s incorporated into the side of a 1950s tower (grey building, top centre of photo in link). I haven’t found out the story behind it yet.

The 1960s portion of the building is great, too. I love mid-century modern architecture, as you know.
